LONDON-DUBAI – Iranian Nobel Peace laureate Shirin Ebadi on Thursday urged the people of Iran to engage in civil disobedience and press on with nationwide protests that are posing the boldest challenge to its leaders since pro-reform unrest in 2009.
It is doubtful whether they will be able to reach the scene of chemical weapon attack. While Moscow and Damascus denied that the shots were fired at the UN personnel, West urged both sides to provide security in the region.
Russia’s state communications regulator on Tuesday said it had blocked IP addresses owned by Google and Amazon, saying they were being used by the Telegram messaging service which Moscow moved to ban this week.
