Those are qualities Max Wilson emphasized in his mission statement. Those are qualities Wilson himself demonstrated in his career in business, public service and in our interview. Those qualities help the independent candidate for Wanneroo stand out as the most qualified candidate competing in the state elections.

Wisdom: Max Wilson is obviously very smart. He has chaired the Small Business Centre North West Metro for last five years and managed the local Community newspapers through the Cities of Wanneroo and Joondalup in times of turbulence and almost permanent crisis for media. He understands the art of investment that is the most important challenge for Wanneroo, which was almost abandoned for last two terms. Wilson is a diligent observer of rapidly changing economy. He does not lack confidence but he is not afraid to admit when he is wrong.

Peace-making: While other candidates have pandered to the extremes with attacks on the major parties following their Party’s leaders, Wilson has pointedly refrained from reckless rhetoric and moralizing. He may be accused of being too cautious but choosing words carefully is a skill essential for anyone who will take a seat in the Parliament. Wilson exhibits also wisdom of a man who listened and learned from his parents, family, and business partners and from his own trials and errors in life.

Independence: As an independent candidate Wilson declared that assessing every piece of legislation will always act to facilitate the stability of any majoritarian government. But Max Wilson wants to break the circle of “adversarial brand of politics with most trying to outmaneuver the other” and for this aspect of his mission he should be applauded. Wilson disagrees with Liberals and Labor on many issues but he offers smart and well-reasoned alternatives rather than political Party’s undefined promises. While a major Party declares interest in development of Neerabup technological center in the same time it focuses all of its effort on the coastal area. Max Wilson, as the only candidate with decades of experience in business development perceives real opportunities for job growth in Neerabup.

Max Wilson is making his first bid for Wanneroo support. He brings fresh ideas and personal integrity as a candidate. Rebuilding economy is the Western Australia’s and Wanneroo top priority and Max Wilson makes the best case among all of candidates that he could contribute the most.

He stands out in the current field of candidates in Wanneroo. He has solid credentials in career, that includes running and helping to run successful businesses, and working with many partners in the Wanneroo area as the manager for local Community newspapers. He stands especially among the candidates of major parties: Sabine Winton, who is an excellent teacher and unionist but without any experience in business development; and incumbent representative Paul Miles, who seemed to choose ministerial job in times when unemployment reached higher level in Wanneroo than the state average.

Max Wilson is one of the newest political figures in Western Australia. He does not deny it. But his youth and freshness can be one of the most valuable features of future representative for Wanneroo. Young entrepreneurs who invented social media, the most powerful instrument that continues to bring change to the political and social order, are defining twenty first century. Young politicians in Europe and the United States are writing new policies and strategies that will be changing our world and economy even faster. Max Wilson perfectly fits to be a candidate that will help to position, strengthen and empower Wanneroo and its economy in those volatile conditions.

Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King observed that one of the great liabilities of history is that all too many people fail to remain awake through great periods of social change. “Today, our very survival depends on our ability to stay awake, to adjust to new ideas, to remain vigilant and to face the challenge of change.” Max Wilson, as any other candidate, is prepared to help Wanneroo and Western Australia to navigate through those great periods of social change.

Wilson actively searches for a new strategic solutions to the systemic problems of unemployment and job insecurity in the world of changing paradigm of economic growth. The Just Third Way economic strategy that focuses on the widespread programs of the expanded ownership of productive capital for every citizen, raises hope to be a “game changer” for the economic situation of working class in Wanneroo in Western Australia, Wilson said.

Wilson focuses on principles of realistic solutions that he is going to pursue for the benefit of Wanneroo

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row admin_label=”Row”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]

While other candidates are content to bash policies of rival Party’s and their rivals themselves without offering meaningful reforms of their own, Wilson emphasizes principles of realistic solutions that he is going to pursue for the benefit of Wanneroo. In the same way, Wilson’s strategy on jobs is unique among the Wanneroo contenders in calling for active involvement in “this long game”.

This ability to see merits of tough issues from something other than an ideological perspective suggests that Max Wilson would be willing to build bridge the political divide in Western Australian Parliament. Western Australians are desperate for their local representatives in the Parliament to work together. His platform of non-partisan cooperation and thinking is one of the outstanding programs that were offered by any candidate in this campaign.

For these reasons Max Wilson deserves the support of Wanneroo voters in the March 11 elections. If he receives mandate, the people of Wanneroo will have a trusted, solid and wise representative.
