Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe believes that the idea of Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade agreement without the participation of the United States has no purpose.

“The TPP would be meaningless without the United States,” Abe said.

Prime Minister also said there was no discussion at the meeting of TPP leaders in Lima that other members should try to put the TPP into effect without the United States.

In Lima Shinzo Abe met Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss economic cooperation.
