As humanitarian catastrophe in Aleppo, Syria worsens a prominent businessman and human rights defender George Soros accused Vladimir Putin for war crimes. “When the facts are fully established, Putin’s bombing of Aleppo will be viewed as among the modern world’s most egregious war crimes”, Soros said in a special statement on his website.

Human rights defender called nations of the world to end their lethargy and show solidarity with families of Aleppo that Assad regime army and Russian Air Force targeted with their bunker-buster bombs. Soros called Aleppo’s tragedy “a humanitarian catastrophe of historic proportions”. He explained that Vladimir Putin “supporting of his protégé, Bashar al-Assad” is “perpetrator of this crimes”.

“I appeal to the people of Russia, Europe, and the rest of the world not to stand idly by, but to spread the word and voice their outrage”, George Soros said.

He also said that he is convinced that “an outpouring of public opinion” may force President Putin “to put an end to his heinous crimes against humanity”.

If Russians will not stop bombing Aleppo may be totally destroyed before Christmas

On Thursday UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan De Mistura called the decision of the United States and Russia to break off cooperation as a “serious setback,” adding that “no one can deny that we are in an emergency mode” regarding the conflict in Syria.

According the United Nations estimate 8,000 opposition fighters is in eastern Aleppo, while there is around 275,000 inhabitants of the city including 100,000 children.

Mr. De Mistura warned that at this rate, eastern Aleppo may be “totally destroyed” by bombings and attacks in two months, before Christmas.

Moscow continues bombing of innocent civilians and targets US and its allies with their sophisticated weapons

On Thursday officials at Russian Ministry of Defense cynically recommended to the United States to think about possibility being hit by the air-defense system Moscow will deploy in support of the Assad army. Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov openly threatened with attack on the United States and Western allies air force by the Moscow “defense forces”.

“United States must realize that the air-defense system will not have time to analyze the trajectory of the missiles and its launchers. And all of illusions about the existence of stealth planes may be confronted with real disappointment”, Konashenkov said.

Konashenkov confirmed Washington Post and Reuters reports that with another gesture of support to dictator Assad Putin’s Russia will deploy the most advanced weapons to prevent Western allies from attacking Syrian army. He said that Russia has already deployed C-200 missile defense system, BUK surface to air missile launchers and others. “I would like to remind the American strategists that targeting potential of the Russian air defense system covering the Russian military bases in Tartus may be surprise for any unidentified flying objects” – Konashenkov added with cynicism.

Russian Federation representative at the UN rejects peaceful solution

The U.N. Security Council began negotiations Monday on a draft resolution seeking an immediate truce in Aleppo and calling for an end to all military flights over the Syrian city, where over a quarter million people in rebel-held areas are besieged by Syrian forces.

The resolution drafted by France and Spain threatens “further measures” – diplomatic code for sanctions — should any party fail to comply with the truce, and it asks for a new U.N.- supervised truce monitor.

But Russia immediately rejected any grounding of aircraft and questioned whether a resolution at this time would actually produce any results.
