Abbas not an informant, but agent of KGB

JERUSALEM – The Mitrokhin Archive was compiled by the KGB officer Vasily Mitrokhin from his handwritten notes on the secret reports of the First Chief Directorate of Soviet intelligence responsible for operations in foreign countries. This is the most authoritative source of information on KGB operations around the world during the Cold War.

The Western foreign intelligence agencies, including Israeli Mossad, are using the archives to detect and liquidate the Soviet moles who are still present wherever they were planted. The unmasking of  Abu Abbas, who is currently Chairman of Palestine, shows how deep this influence was spread in the international institutions.

This is Israeli television program, in which Israeli researchers first revealed the past of Mr. Abbas, not as an informant but KGB agent in 1983.
